PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving a shutter of an air conditioner is provided to reduce the friction loss by minimizing the frictional surface between a guide rail and a driving member. CONSTITUTION: A driving member(110) drives a shutter of an air conditioner up and down. A guide rail(120) is protruded formed on the rear of a front panel and has a groove(125) in the center in an up-and-down movement direction to guide the movement of the driving member. A plurality of separation preventing protrusions(130) prevent the driving member from being separated from the guide rail, guiding the movement. A driving gear(145) converts rotary motion into straight-line motion for moving the driving member up and down. |
