Texture-coated silica can be prepared by spraying a fumed silica with water and a coating agent, for example a thermoplastic elastomer, while mixing in a suitable mixing vessel, then milling and subsequently drying the mixture. The texture-coated silica can be used as a delustering agent in lacquers and for improving the soft feel. |
