PURPOSE: Biomarker proteins for diagnosing the exposure to dioxin is provided, thereby easily diagnosing the exposure to dioxin by using a small amount of blood, measuring physiological situation of a person exposed to dioxin by using the diagnosed data, and being useful in development of protein chips detecting hard-decomposed pollutants. CONSTITUTION: The biomarker proteins for diagnosing the exposure to dioxin comprise aryl sulfotransferase which is present in only the blood of an individual exposed to dioxin and has molecular weight of 26 kDa and pI 5.7, or one protein which is expressed more in the blood of an individual exposed to dioxin than in that of the normal individual, and is selected from Cytokeratin 8 polypeptide having molecular weight of 52 kDa and pI 5.5, Calcium-dependent protease having molecular weight of 28 kDa and pI 5.3 and Proteasome subunit beta type 4 precursor having molecular weight of 29 kDa and pI 6.4. A monoclonal antibody against the biomarker proteins for diagnosing the exposure to dioxin is provided. A kit for diagnosing the exposure to dioxin comprises the monoclonal antibody against the biomarker proteins.
