PURPOSE: A refrigerator having a function of controlling the humidity of a vegetable chamber is provided to keep vegetables and fruits by appropriately controlling the humidity of a vegetable chamber inside. CONSTITUTION: A main body(11) has a freezing chamber and a refrigerator compartment divided by a partition wall. A freezing chamber door and a refrigerator compartment door(33) are combined with the main body to open and shut front open parts of the freezing chamber and the refrigerator compartment. A vegetable chamber(39) is formed inside the refrigerator compartment. An atomizer(51) sprays water into the vegetable chamber. A humidity detecting sensor(59) detects the humidity of the vegetable chamber inside. A control unit controls the atomizer based on a result of detecting the humidity.
