PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boosting converter circuit capable of preventing generation of excessive voltage and suppressing generation of noise. SOLUTION: This boosting converter circuit stores electricity in an output capacitor C through an inductor 2 from a primary power supply 1 and comprises a three-terminal rectifier 6 in which an annode is connected to the primary power supply through the inductor 2, a power MOSFET3 connecting the three-terminal rectifier 6 with a reference potential GND, a first driving circuit 5 which controls the voltage of a gate terminal of the power MOSFET3 and drives its turning on/off, a gate control MOSFET 7 which controls the voltage of the gate terminal of the three-terminal rectifier 6 and charges the output capacitor C, a resistor R1, and a constant-voltage diode ZD. A control circuit 4 is constituted of a multiplier and a PWM circuit to detect the voltage of a positive electrode terminal of the output capacitor C and keep the voltage between output terminals 8, 9 of the boosting capacitor constant.
