PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a card capable of easily pulling off a second card when the second card, which should not be inserted, shorter than a first card which should be inserted, is mistakenly inserted from an insertion hole. SOLUTION: The connector device for a card is provided with the insertion hole 7a into which the first card 1 ready to be mounted is inserted; a prescribed mounting part where the first card 1 is mounted; a stopper member 8 protruded into an insertion path of the first card 1 and giving the second card 2, which should not be mounted and shorter than the first card 1, a movement regulating force; and an evacuating means including a housing part 3c capable of housing the stopper member 8 enabling the stopper member 8 to take shelter outside the insertion path at insertion of the first card 1 by setting a distance from the insertion hole 7a to the stopper member 8 shorter than the length L2 of the second card.
