PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet treating apparatus which can surely and accurately detect destination sectors in bulk sheets and non-manually set up the destination sectors in the bulk sheets to be treated and a sheet treating method. SOLUTION: The destination sectors in the bulk sheets are subjected to detection treatment by various kinds of algorithm to detect the destination sectors in the bulk sheets.
