PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer that prevents an amplification of a noise value due to collision of air blown from an air blower with a reflected wind blown from the air diffuser and reflected by a water receiving portion in the vicinity of the air blower. SOLUTION: The hand dryer has a hand insertion portion to which the hands are inserted, the air blower blowing air to the hands, an air supplying means supplying the air to the air blower and a water receiving portion receiving water drops blown off by the air blown from the air blower and blows away water sticking to the hands by air. A collision prevention means to prevent wind blown from the air blower from colliding with reflected wind blown from the air blower and reflected by the water receiving portion is provided in the front of the hand insertion opening.
