The invention relates to a device which is connected to an alternating current power source (AC/H, AC/N) and which comprises: a two-winding (W1, W2) induction single-phase electric motor (MOT), a phase-shifting capacitor (CM) which is disposed in series with one or other of the aforementioned windings, and a logical processing unit (ULT). The invention is characterised in that the logical processing unit (ULT) is supplied by the output of a converter (SUPPLY) comprising input terminals which are connected to the above-mentioned phase-shifting capacitor (CM) when the motor is supplied.
