The device has an electrically conducting plate held by an electrically conducting frame along its outer edges so as to be fully enclosed. Several contact lugs formed on the frame in one piece on the side of the pate facing the component to be screened are in electrical contact with the part (5) on which the component to be shielded is mounted when the plate is mounted with the frame on the part. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an electrochemical energy storage device (b) and a controller, especially for an electrochemical energy storage device.
