<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction heat generation restraining device for a development roller, which minimizes frictional heat generated between the end face of the development roller and a butting part, thereby smoothly and steadily rotating the development roller and to provide a development cartridge having the device. <P>SOLUTION: The friction heat generation restraining device for the development roller device includes: a supply roller 53 which is disposed adjacent to a toner storage part 45 and whose rotary shaft is rotatably supported by the end faces of a housing 43; the development roller 55 which has a peripheral face that is in contact with the peripheral face of the supply roller and whose rotary shaft is rotatably supported by the end faces of the housing 43; pressing devices 137 and 131 which press the development roller to one of the end faces of the housing; the butting part 163 which is formed on the internal face of the housing and regulates movement of the end face of the development roller situated on the side where the development roller is pressed; and a low frictional member 167 which is disposed between the end face of the development roller and the butting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
