<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expose an exterior conductor without damaging a central conductor when processing an end of a cable. <P>SOLUTION: An ultra-fine coaxial cable 1 has an insulating body 5, becoming a reflecting layer not transmitting any laser beam by mixing in a color body, applied to the outer periphery of the central conductor 3. The exterior conductor 7 is shielded in the outer periphery of the insulator 5 and a jacket layer 9, consisting of resin, is applied to the outer periphery of the exterior conductor 7. When the laser beam is radiated to expose the exterior conductor 7 by eliminating the jacket layer 9 of the cable 1, since laser beam is reflected with the insulator 5 itself becoming the reflecting layer, the jacket layer 9 is eliminated without damaging the central conductor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
