<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily forming a reflection plate for a liquid crystal display device with a superior reflection characteristic with high efficiency, and to provide the reflection plate with the superior reflection characteristic, and a reflection type liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: After liquid drops having different size which are formed of low-viscosity photo-setting resin or thermosetting resin are formed in random arrangement on a substrate surface by using an ink jet nozzle, the liquid drops are made asymmetrically partial and optically or thermally solidified in the partial state, and a reflecting layer is formed of a metal film on the surfaces of the solidified resin liquid drops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
