<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the output characteristics and arrangement of an actuator to generate reaction force in a device to generate reaction force according to a brake input amount manipulated by a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A means 5 to passively supply reaction force in response to the brake input amount and a means 6 to actively adjust reaction force by the operation of the actuator 11 are combined with each other, thereby the actuator having a small output amount and excellent responsiveness can be adopted, and besides, an on-vehicle space can be reduced and the layout of the reaction force generator can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
