PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manhours in work for dislocating mutual reference surface positions of a pivot abutting part and a valve stem operation part of a rocker arm body to a desired state. SOLUTION: This rocker arm has the rocker arm body 2 for respectively distributing the valve stem operating operation part 7 and the pivot abutting part 6 to longitudinal directional one end part and the other end part between a pair of opposed side wall parts 5, a support shaft 3 installed between both side wall parts in the middle in the longitudinal direction and a roller 4 installed on this support shaft. Both plate-like parts of the operation part 7 and the abutting part 6 are substantially orthogonal to a wall surface of both side wall parts 5, and are positioned on the substantially same plane inclining in the pushing action direction to a valve stem in the operation part 7.
