PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis assisting apparatus with which a stable measurement result can be obtained even in a situation that a distance between a distal end of a probe and a body cavity wall cannot be maintained constantly. SOLUTION: The diagnosis assisting apparatus is configured to irradiate the body cavity wall with an excitation light to excite biological tissues under the body cavity wall and red light to illuminate the body cavity wall through a probe P as well as to alternatively receive a fluorescent light emitted from the biological tissues under the body cavity wall and the red light reflected at a surface of the body cavity wall through the probe P. The diagnosis assisting apparatus is also configured to produce a correction factor from an obtained power value of the red light and to correct the power value of the light of 680nm, 600nm and 460nm in the obtained fluorescent light respectively by dividing with the correction factor.
