PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system in which directivity can be widened furthermore. SOLUTION: The wide directivity speaker system 1 comprises a cone type speaker unit 2, and a constriction member 10A. The constriction member 10A is provided with a central hole 11 and a peripheral hole 12 on the outside thereof. An annular shielding part 19 is formed on the radial outside of the central hole 11 and on the radial inside of the peripheral hole 12 in the constriction member 10A. Radial outer end of the shielding part 19 is located at the substantially intermediate position between the radial outer end of the central hole 11 and the radial outer end of the peripheral hole 12 or at a position radially outside of the intermediate position.
