PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit information collected by a portable information transmission terminal device at an arbitrary time and in an arbitrary state without requiring operations of an operator, in transmitting the information to an information processing apparatus of a managent station side. SOLUTION: The information transmission terminal device is temporarily installed in a job site so that a mode setting switch 104 can be switched between a mode for calling by an operation of the operator and an automatic calling mode for allowing the information transmission terminal device to transmit information to the management station side in response to a calling from the management station side to the information transmission terminal device side. The following operations are included: the information transmission terminal device automatically calls the management station under time control to transmit the information to the management station side, predetermined information is further transmitted to the management station side, and the information transmission terminal device automatically calls the management station to transmit information to the management station side, depending on a change in state of a monitoring object.
