PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material having low fog, high sensitivity and a high maximum density, suppressed in increase of fog density after a long-term storage, excellent in image color tone, and excellent also in suitability to rapid heat development, and to provide an image recording method using the same and an image forming method. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer comprising non-photosensitive silver aliphatic-carboxylate grains, photosensitive silver halide grains, a silver ion reducing agent and a binder on a support, is characterized in that a cyan-developing leuco dye and an inhibitor having a specified structure are contained and the photosensitive silver halide grains have been chemically sensitized.
