PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having a simple structure capable of increasing the output of a drive source in an engine type or electric storage type industrial vehicle used for carrying work or the like, such as a fork lift, by largely depressing an accelerator pedal in loading/unloading work in the fork lift, while suppressing the speed in traveling by regulating the depression quantity of the accelerator pedal, and being easily mounted later on an existing vehicle. SOLUTION: This device comprises a rod for regulating the depression quantity of the accelerator pedal, which is vertically movably provided, and a lock means for locking and regulating the vertical movement of the rod. The lock means is operated in traveling, and the lock means is released in loading/unloading work in response to a loading/unloading operation signal.
