PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information display device capable of indirectly telling a driver about the most economical driving status by using a diagnostic connector of a vehicle-installed electric control unit for extracting various information and displaying fuel consumption status on a display. SOLUTION: The vehicle information display device can be freely attachably/detachably mounted on a vehicle and is equipped with a function for displaying average fuel consumption, instant fuel consumption, and fuel consumption since the previous fuel replenishment spent by the vehicle. The device comprises an extracting means for extracting various kinds of information such as vehicle speed, engine speed, water temperature, and injector injection time through the vehicle diagnosis connector provided for the electric control unit for controlling a vehicle-installed internal combustion, a calculation means for calculating the average fuel consumption, the instant fuel consumption, and the fuel consumption since the previous fuel replenishment based on the various kinds of information extracted by the extracting means, and a display means for displaying the data calculated by the calculation means.
