The automatic resetting system allows the locking cams of the electronic locking system to be returned to their rest position after each rotary operation via a rotary door knob, on the outside of the door, permitted upon input of a valid access authorization code. An eccentric core (4) is mounted on the locking cam axis (1) by axially offset ball bearings (5,6), one of which is acted on by a spring (8) providing a radial spring force and mounted in a housing (3), directly or indirectly secured to the lock or the door panel.
