<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cultured cell sheet from shifting, fracturing or deteriorating during transportation. <P>SOLUTION: The cultured cell sheet package 50 comprises a net 45 interposed between a cell sheet-including carrier 18 and the base of a tray recessed part 22 and is brought into nearly linear contact with the cell sheet-including carrier 18 and is further brought into nearly linear contact with even the face side of the base of the tray recessed part 22. A net 46 interposed between the cell sheet-including carrier 18 and the base of a lid recessed part 32 is brought into nearly linear contact with the cell sheet-including carrier 18 and is further brought into nearly linear contact with the back surface side of the base of the lid recessed part 32. Thereby, the cell sheet-including carrier 18 is held in a culture medium filled in a state of nearly completely excluding air in a hermetically sealed space S. As a result, the culture medium does not ruffle even if shaken during transportation and there is no fear of shifting a cultured epithelial cell sheet included in the cell sheet-including carrier 18.
