WELD COVERING MATERIAL, JOINT STRUCTURE, WELDING METHOD, WELDED ARTICLE AND COMPOSITE ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld covering material which allows little permeation of chemical solution at a sheet-joining part, is excellent in welding reliability and generates no leaking part and a welding method in which the weld covering material covers a matrix.

SOLUTION: The weld covering material is composed of a modified polytetrafluoroethylene resin (A) which is composed of tetrafluoroethylene and a trace amount of a monomer. The weld covering material is placed on a joint part of a resin matrix composed of polytetrafluoroethylene resin (B) and welding is executed so that the joint part of the resin matrix is covered with the weld covering material.
