<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of coping with and solving a problem caused by a temperature difference between a recording sheet and a non-heating member and transfer of a high-temperature recording sheet at the atmospheric temperature in real time. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus hardly having dew condensation of water vapor from the high-temperature sheet by passing through a fixing unit 8 on a guide member 15 because the temperature of the guide member 15 is controlled with a Peltier element 14 so that a detection temperature T of a temperature sensor 17 is T1<T<T2, hardly deforms a subsequent feeding recording sheet, hardly forms an abnormal image in double-sided printing, can prevent image separation and toner staining in contact with the guide member 15 by temperature control of the recording sheet, occurrence of clogging and damage due to softening of the film recording sheet, and prevent passing through an image forming part of the high-temperature recording sheet in double-sided printing, a gloss difference due to a temperature difference of the front and reverse faces of the recording sheet, quality lowering of a formed image due to a cleaning inferiority of a high-temperature photoreceptor, and sticking to the reverse face of the recording sheet on one sheet of a toner image of the recording sheet discharged and loaded on a tray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
