<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for distributing video contents for mobile equipment, capable of easily providing optimum video contents suitable for the clientele of the mobile equipment in a short period of time at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A server 2 for distributing video images for passengers is provided inside an airplane 1. Inside an aviation building, a video distribution site 8 for which a server 3 for distributing contents for a passenger plane, a data base server 4, a web server 5, a tuner 6 and an optical transmitter-receiver 13 provided inside a boarding gate 12, etc., are connected by LAN is provided. Inside the airplane 1, the server 2 for distributing the video images for the passengers, an intra-plane optical transmitter-receiver 14 and passenger terminals 16 are provided.
