<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for encoding a dynamic image by preventing the propagation of an error and simultaneously suppressing data such as redundant encoding condition, etc. as much as possible in the method for encoding the dynamic image of a slice unit. <P>SOLUTION: This method for encoding the dynamic image includes an image dividing step of dividing the image into a plurality of areas, an encoding data generating step of generating encoding data by compression encoding the divided areas of the image in the image dividing step, a first type header information adding step of adding first type header information including an image encoding condition used commonly to encode the plurality of the areas and area encoding conditions individually used to encode the areas in the encoding data generating step, and a second type header information adding step of adding second type header information including only the area encoding condition in the residual encoding data in which the first type header information is not added in the first type header information adding step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
