PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical technique for gene transfer into a plant cell, enabling the gene transfer by Agrobacterium method in high efficiency and favorable state even to a plant such as lily resistant to the infection with Agrobacterium.

SOLUTION: A gene is transferred to a callus 8 derived from a floral organ tissue or a peduncle tissue of a plant by the Agrobacterium method.
