PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the distortion of an AC voltage/ a current waveform of which the distortion ratio of an output voltage/ the current waveform of a false load power supply is controlled to≤1%. SOLUTION: This method for correcting distortion consists of a power supply output waveform detecting step for outputting a power supply detecting waveform 8 from a power supply output waveform 7; a signal generating step for generating a clock signal 3 for indicating frequency from the power supply detecting waveform 8, a reference voltage signal 4, and a reset signal 5; a phase inverted sine waveform generating step for inputting the clock signal 3, the reference voltage signal 4, and the reset signal 5 into a sine waveform generating circuit 6, and for generating a phase inverted sine waveform 9 of which the phase difference from the power supply detecting waveform 8 is 180°; a step for generating a distortion component waveform; a step for amplifying a distortion component waveform; a step for generating amplification distortion component sine waveform; and a step for generating a power supply output correction waveform. As a result, no heat is generated in a linear amplifier type false load power supply performed in a conventional technique, miniaturization of an apparatus and high supply efficiency of the power supply can be obtained.
