PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and analytic device for analyzing wireless LAN signals against compression of their bandwidths. SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of performing low-pass filtering of an OFDM signal using a low-pass filter (LPF) 24 and shifting 26 the spectrum of the OFDM signal in order to acquire a frequency-shifted and filtered OFDM signal r(i), so that the length of an impulse response of the LPF 24 becomes shorter than the length of a guard period of a data symbol.
