PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular motor-driven compressor for reducing a physical constitution of a device, and reducing the shaft length while securing a superior shield and impact resistance to electromagnetic wave noise. SOLUTION: A power switching element 6 is fixed to an outer peripheral surface of a housing 4. A frame part 41 is erected from the outer peripheral surface of the housing 4 while surrounding the power switching element 6, a bus bar assembly 8 and a printed circuit board 9 for forming an inverter circuit part, and a metallic cover plate 10 is fixed to a top surface of the frame part 41.
