PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass panel capable of clearly displaying an image. SOLUTION: A glass panel 101 which is provided to a PDP100 comprises a front plate glass 102 of thickness, for example, 2.8mm, and a back plate glass 104 of thickness, for example, 2.8mm which is arranged away from the front plate glass 102 by, for example, 0.1mm to form a hollow part 103 with the front plate glass 102. The front plate glass 102 is sealed with the back plate glass 104 with a sealing part 105 comprising a low melting point glass paste at an outer peripheral edge so that a rare gas is sealed up while the hollow part 103 is depressurized.
