PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method by which information is recorded while a maximum burst error correction length is made longer employing a relatively simple manner without increasing the amount of redundancy. SOLUTION: A step is provided to generate main data relative to the main information of the number of prescribed words, auxiliary information including sector addresses or the like and ECC blocks, which are made by parity, using a product code system. Moreover, a step is provided to make continuous n (where n≥2) ECC blocks among the ECC blocks as a one set, that each first row of the ECC blocks of the set is successively switched and outputted, that each second row is successively switched and outputted, that each k-th row of the ECC blocks is successively switched and outputted and that each (k+1)-th row is successively switched and outputted while conducting interleaving.
