摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive effective for reducing the time required till a setup is completed, in the disk drive capable of using recording media having a plurality of different specifications. SOLUTION: The disk drive capable of using the recording media having a plurality of different specifications is constituted so that the kind of a disk (specification) of the recording medium for performing the setup processing in top priority can be preliminarily specified (set).
