PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic domain wall removable magneto-optical recording medium which suppresses floating magnetic field from surroundings acting on reproducing/recording part. SOLUTION: The magnetic domain wall removable magneto-optical recording medium includes an electronic domain wall movable layer 1001 which has a rare earth element sub-lattice magnetization predominant composition at room temperature, a switching layer 1002 and a memory layer 1003. A magnetization offset layer 1006 which reduces generation of the floating magnetic field at near the room temperature, and is predominant in iron group element sub-lattice magnetization at the room temperature is arranged.
