PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device provided with a constitution preventing an image turbulence, soiling inside a device and leaking to a periphery part by preventing the occurrence of developer scattering from an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: The transfer device is provided with a transfer electric field-forming means 501A to electrostatically transfer an image from an image carrier 1 to a transfer body 500 formed by having an extending part hung on a plurality of hanging rolls 5A, 5F.
