PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image measuring method and a device which remarkably improve a dimensional precision in an inner diameter and a distance between electrodes in a luminous tube (luminous part) especially in a bulb. SOLUTION: In a hollow part of the luminous tube, an object (luminous tube 16 ) consisting of a first part ( electrode 17 ) fixed in the hollow part and a second part ( mercury particle 20 ) of a solid or a liquid which is moving in the hollow part is fluoroscopically examined by an electromagnetic wave. In this method, the image measurement is performed by picking up a fluoroscopic image. The fluoroscopic image of the object has to be imaged without overlapping the images of the first part and the second part when the object is examined fluoroscopically. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
