PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-density microchannel array wherein the adjustment of a treatment condition is easy (that is, the treatment conditions are the same), and an arbitrary number of channels are arranged densely. SOLUTION: In the high-density microchannel array, a plurality of groups, each of which is constituted of a plurality of channels for introducing and discharging a fluid, are provided on the same plane. A plurality of the channels are characterized in that an inlet opening part and/or a discharging opening part, with respect to the channels, are formed to the terminal parts of the channels to be arranged in parallel in the same direction, at close vicinity to each other and have the same length, a set comprising at least two or more adjacent channel groups is constituted as one set to arrange one ore more sets, the terminal parts of all of three or more continuous channels are arranged to be shifted from the end edge of a substrate and at mutually different distances, and the terminal parts of one or more channels of different sets are arranged at the same distance from the end edge of the substrate at a mutually allowable distance.
