摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet excellent in magnetic characteristics, which evaluates the quality of a final product beforehand in a stage after decarbonization/annealing treatment, enhances the yield of the final product and controls the manufacturing condition on the basis of an evaluated value. SOLUTION: In the method of evaluating the manufacturing condition of the magnetic steel sheet, a sample is taken out from the steel sheet in the stage after decarbonization/annealing in a manufacturing process and one surface of the sample steel sheet is measured by a high frequency glow discharge emission spectrum analyzing method (rf-GDS). Then, the manufacturing process of the grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet is evaluated on the basis of a change in the depth direction of the amount of a least one element in the steel sheet.
