PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system having the same function as that of a hydraulic pump of variable displacement type while using a hydraulic pump of fixed displacement type, in a hydraulic drive device provided with an engine having a fuel injection control device capable of controlling a governor region to have isochronous characteristics. SOLUTION: This hydraulic drive device of a working machine comprises: the engine 1 having the fuel injection control device capable of controlling the governor region of the engine to have the isochronous characteristics; the hydraulic pump 2 of fixed displacement type driven by the engine 1; a plurality of hydraulic actuators 3 to 6 driven by a pressure oil delivered form the hydraulic pump 2; a pressure detector 14 for detecting delivery pressure of the hydraulic pump 2; an operating lever device 50 for operating the plurality of hydraulic actuators 3 to 6; and a pressure detector 52 for detecting an operation amount of the operating lever device 50. This hydraulic drive device of the working machine is provided with a control means 15 for fluctuating an engine speed in accordance with the delivery pressure of the hydraulic pump 2 and the operation amount of the operating lever device 50.
