PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose gripper for a hydraulic excavator used for demolishing work for a building, landscape gardening work or recently for selecting work for industrial waste, and used for the hydraulic excavator being a typical machine of a construction machine. SOLUTION: A pair of support plate gripping upper body A4 and support plate gripping lower body B5 for linking a gripping upper body 1 and a gripping lower body 2 and a pair of support plate link part A6 and support plate link part B7 are juxtaposed and fixed in the multipurpose gripper for the hydraulic excavator. A main link pin 8 hole is arranged under the center of an arm tip pin 15. A pair of support plate gripping lower body A9 and support plate gripping lower body B10 for forming the pin hole for installing one end side of a connecting rod 3 are juxtaposed and fixed under the main link pin 8 hole.
