PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash-frame mounting device preferable in terms of design, which dispenses with mounting of a caulking material, prevents the downsizing of an opening for a window, and eliminates the fear of deformation of a sash frame. SOLUTION: The sash-frame mounting device 100 makes the sash frame 30 mounted on an exterior-wall opening 21 of a building frame via a steel frame 40. The steel frame 40 is equipped with a steel head 41 and steel jambs 43, which are to be mounted on the outer peripheries of a sash head 31 of the sash frame 30 and sash jambs 33 thereof. The sash frame 30 and the steel frame 40 are screw-fixed together on an indoor side from the indoor side to an outdoor side. The sash frame 30 and the steel frame 40 are screw-fixed together on the outdoor side from the outdoor side to the indoor side. The steel frame 40, wherein exterior-wall mounting frames 41a and 43a serving as parts for being mounted on the side of an exterior wall 20 are formed, is mounted by means of the frames 41a and 43a in such a manner as to cover an indoor surface 20a of the exterior wall 20.
