PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for spraying granules in such a manner that the granules are concentrically sprayed at a specified part in the direction of flow of a substrate or in the direction of the width of the substrate. SOLUTION: In the method for spraying granules 3 onto a moving substrate 2, the granules 3 are fed so as to form a specifically wide flow 30 of the granules, and while the width of the flow 30 of the granules is varied with a flow regulating guide 4 swinging in the direction traversing the substrate 2, the granules 3 are sprayed over the substrate 2. The apparatus for spraying the granules 3 over the moving substrate 2 is equipped with a granule feed mechanism that feeds the granules 3 to form a specifically wide flow 30 of the granules 3 and a flow regulation mechanism that regulates the direction of all or part of the flow of the granules that constitute the flow 30 of the granules by means of the flow regulating guide 4.
