PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair that can be used by a pulling action, which is easy to operate and available by simply adding it as a kit to an existing wheelchair. SOLUTION: The wheelchair has a front wheel, which can change directions, at the front part of the main body; rotatable axes attached to a rear axis composed of rear wheels on the both sides at the rear part of an ordinarily constituted wheelchair; and U-shaped brackets having a roller at one side and being attached rotatably to the top end of each rotatable axis, which circle rear tires loosely with some space in between. From the other end of the rotatable axes, the direction of the U-shaped brackets is changed, with wires attached to pulleys, to a direction that makes applying power easier and, when the rotatable axes are pulled toward a direction, the rear tires are rubbed and create friction to drive the wheelchair. To move back the rotatable axes to neutral positions, their tare or springs are used. Springs are used to move back the U-shaped brackets to neutral positions. Further, wires on the both sides are connected with a bar for one-hand driving and the center of the bar is pushed or pulled to drive. For steering, the bar is driven to apply power to its one side.
