<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method for a resin member for obtaining a resin member excellent in leak resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser welding method for heating and melting the contact interface of a transmittable resin material 2, which comprises a transmittable resin having transmitting properties with respect to a laser beam 5 being a heating source, and a non-transmittable resin material 1 which comprises a non-treansmittable resin having no transmitting properties with respect to the laser beam 5, by the irradiation with the laser beam 5 from the transmittable resin material 2 side to weld the resin materials 1 and 2, an elastic material 3 having an elastic modulus lower than that of the transmittable resin material 2 and the non-transmittable resin material 1 is arranged to the contact interface of the transmittable resin material 2 and the non-transmittable resin material 1 and the whole is irradiated with the laser beam 5 in such a state that the transmittable resin material 2 and the non-transmittable resin material 1 are brought to a pressure contact state. By this laser welding method for the resin member, the resin member suppressed in the occurrence of welding failure and excellent in the leak resistance of the welded part can be manufactured by laser welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
