<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor controller capable of preventing a danger caused by a malfunction / an operation mistake thereof and safely confirming the tuning of the controller and the move amount of a moving portion in advance to be started. <P>SOLUTION: A control instruction amount selection portion 6 and an operation detection amount conversion selection portion 8 are switched at a time by a selection switch operation portion 10. The electric motor 1 is driven by a smaller operation amount than a control instruction amount by the control instruction amount selection portion 6. The operation detection amount is converted by the operation detection amount conversion selection portion 8.
