PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measuring device capable of easily measuring the locations of recesses without using other measuring instruments. SOLUTION: This shape measuring device 10 is provided with a recess location means for measuring the locations of recesses of a workpiece 28, a camera 20 which picks up a measuring mark 18b given to the surface of a measuring jig 18 from a plurality of directions in the state that the measuring jig 18 having a shape containing a sphere is put on the recess, an image processor 24 which calculates the coordinate value of the measuring mark 18b based on the image data picked up, and an analyzer 26 which calculates the center point of the sphere based on the coordinate value of the measuring mark 18b, calculate the point obtained by projecting the center point of the sphere in the vertical direction to a plane containing the periphery of the recesses, and calculates the locations of the recesses.
