PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cleaning contaminated land capable of cleaning a soil contaminated with harmful substances such as oil, cyanide compound, hexavalent chromium compound, lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic with a small amount of labor and expense. SOLUTION: The underground of a factory is previously bedded with at least impermeable materials such as clay incaable of allowing the contaminant or the liquid dissolved therefrom to pass through to conatitute an impermeable layer 4.
