PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass panel in which breakage of the glass tube can be prevented and deterioration of workability at incorporation of the glass panel into the frame can be prevented. SOLUTION: The glass panel 101 is consisted of a front plate glass 102 and a rear plate glass 104 which is arranged at an interval of, for example, 0.1 mm apart from the front plate glass 102 so as to form a hollow part 103 between the front plate glass 102. The front plate glass 102 and the rear plate glass 104 are sealed by a sealing part 105 made of a low melting-point glass paste at the outer periphery so as to seal a rare gas while leaving the hollow part 103 in reduced pressure, and the rear plate glass 104 has a filling part 200 for filling the rare gas in the hollow part 103. Furthermore, this filling part 200 has a through hole 202 of an inner diameter of 2 mm and a glass tube 203 which is fitted to the through hole 202 and its outside edge is sealed by fusion and its outside edge protrudes by nearly 10 mm from the outer face of the rear plate glass 104. And the glass tube 203 is covered by a cap 300 made of synthetic resin presenting a dome shape in cross section in side view. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
