PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an eye piece that facilitates a high eye point and that is simple and inexpensive as well as small and lightweight, in a telescope with a camera. SOLUTION: An optical system is divided into a zoom photographing objective lens system 1 (objective lens front group 5, photographing objective lens rear group 6) and a zoom viewing objective lens system 2 (objective lens front group 5, viewing objective lens rear group 9). The viewing objective lens system 2 is designed to have a longer focal distance than the photographing objective lens system 1. While the photographing field and the viewing field are nearly equally maintained, the focal distance of the eye piece is set on the longer side, making the eye piece simple/inexpensive as well as small/lightweight, and facilitating the high eye point.
